* mobile phones with gravity controlled rotating screens - Lyndsay Williams was the inventor of the earliest patent for this technology

Girton Labs Ltd was founded by Lyndsay Williams in 2007. Lyndsay had previously worked as a Researcher at Microsoft Research in Cambridge and in April 2007, Microsoft Research Cambridge discontinued work in hardware inventions, the last being her SenseCam and BioSenseCam, and so she left and then founded Girton Labs.
News - 9th October 2008
Girton Labs, in collaboration with partners has received a Government Technology Strategy Board grant for development of a new 3D sensing flexible fabric. This has numerous applications e.g. clothing, games, sports, fashion and military. Patent filed.
